Khan Academy & ethics

 Hello! I am Juan

In this post you will see how Khan Academy is evaluated in terms of the tool itself (functionality, accessibility, pedagogical use...) as well as its privacy policy and services for any user.

But, first things first, what is Khan Academy? Well you should know that it is a free tool for self learning supported by many professionals in different knowledge fields, especially mathematics from any level or discipline, computer sciences like programming and so on. Even though you can use it by yourself, it also offers the option of creating an online classroom, so it can be also used for supporting your own lessons as a teacher.

For the evaluation of the tool has been used 2 resources, a rubric which you can find in this link, and in the following info-graphic created with the information provided by Common Sense

Check the full evaluation by Common Sense here.

Thanks for your attention!

Curator Post

Hey! This is Juan, this week's curator.  For my weekly post I have gathered and created the APA style references of the different resources used along the week. You will find them in the following mind map I have done. On it, you will also see a slight view at the process of the activity.  Click here to see the mind map in its original website
