Hi there!
This is the stars' post for this week, that corresponds to "Task 6: Key competences with Taccle". As usual with Taccle tasks (remember we already used these books on Task 4), there are 2 stars needed for presenting the Pechakucha for the class in the online meeting. In this case, Juan and Santiago are the fortunate in charge of such duty.
In this post we will narrate how was the process of preparing and presenting the Pechakucha, and how we organized ourselves, as well as the final product (If you are interested in the whole process, check our journalist's post).
Then, the general script and the presentation itself were made collaboratively by all the member of the group, sharing ideas and trying to time each slide for not surpassing 20 seconds. It didn't take us many time as we had already answered the proposed questions the day before, and we only needed to include the results of our activity. After that, the slides were distributed for their design on Genia.ly and we, the stars, started organizing and preparing the presentation.
So, we had a brief meeting in which we agreed to do 2 slides each, alternating until the end, because we though that is was quite fair. Even though we kinda drafted the scrip before, some of the slides were too long for just 20 seconds, so improvements were precised. Finally, the awaited day arrived, and after our classmates ended, it was out turn. The first two slides corresponding to Santi passed as normal as we rehearsed and just when I was about to speak, our teacher stopped us due to a misunderstanding, and the show kicked off again. The clapping ceased and out worries vanished, that was all. For the rest of the lesson we all were told the corrections and good things, followed by a group reflection of the task experience.
