Star(ing) to the finish line

Hii!

It is Gema and Elena, the stars of the last week ☹️

First and foremost, if you would like to check our infography, please click here!

Throughout this week, the whole group has pitched in to create an infography about the main competences for the Digital World.

To be honest, the presentation didn't go as bad as we initially thought it was going to be, in fact, we managed to explain all the items and our classmates actually understood it very well, which actually pleased us a lot. Actually, it is nice to leave with a nice memory of this week as we have put plenty of effort to our weekly tasks (not just this one).

Just in case you are not familiar with this model we let you here a very brief explanation and reflection about what is it and its importance for teachers.

Almost all frameworks emphasize the use of technology, restricted to teaching in the conventional classroom, and the ethical and social aspects only from the legal use of technology or security.

After reading the document on the Holistic Teaching Competence for a Digital World, we have decided to include the aspects that we find the most relevant in a brief and schematic way.

In order to develop this activity, we have used the website “easelly”. We must say that we have created our infographic from scratch, trying to be as imaginative as possible, always following the recommendations of the videos proposed by the teacher.

To end up with, we find crucial to highlight that the Digital Competence is key not only for the students, since it helps them in knowing and critically interpreting reality, but also for teachers, as we live in such an interconnected world, it is useful for both making their lessons far more dynamic and interactive, as well as for going beyond the textbook, ensuring efficient relationships with the community, families and for reflecting upon their practice.

That's it, hope you have enjoyed as much as we have! 💕

  1. I really enjoyed your presentation, since I believe it was really clear and easy to follow and it was clear you knew much about the topic. What's more, I also like the way you have summarized your work here in the blog. I consider your blog to always be full of useful knowledge and a source of inspiration.

Translating the Task

Good morning to all and welcome to the home stretch! I am Santiago García-Purriños and I will be the translator this week. I will select the five concepts that I consider most important during the development of this task number nine. The first concept that I consider important is the meaning of frameworks, it is a kind of library, a piece of software that provides web developers with a code base and consistent, standardised ways to create web applications. Throughout this task, pedagogical knowledge has also played an important role. Pedagogical knowledge consists of adapting the specialised knowledge of teachers for creating effective teaching. Technological pedagogical content knowledge is a framework for understanding and describing the types of knowledge a teacher needs for effective pedagogical practice in a technology-enhanced learning environment. Education is a field where digital content has become increasingly popular as well as necessary. Professionals in this field are rea...

Task 9 FACILITATOR

Hello! I am Antonio Aznar and on this task 9 I have the role of facilitator, let us commence forth. Regarding the conflict situations this week, there was not a single one, which means that everyone behaved properly and worked hard on the assignment. Regarding the fulfilment of obligations, On this week everyone completed their assigments, furthermore, we worked hard to create the most tedious part which is the infographic, in which each one of us read a different part of the text called Holistic Teaching Competence for a Digital World, I need to say that each on of us make their own resume. In the last part, I will also revise that each one of the roles of this week are well written and well distributed in the blog, that means that I will check each post of the blog in order to check if it is right. -Antonio
