Welcome again to our blog!
I am Juan, the first and last analyst of our experience as a group throughout the course. This is curious, since we are all coming back to perform the same first role we had, what helps to look back at all the things we've experienced along this 9 weeks.
As usual, we met in Zoom the morning of Saturday to analyze the task and identify its goal. We tend to do long sessions so as to try to finish as soon as possible and avoiding a second meeting the following day. This is usually exhausting for us and probably one of the hardest moment of the week. Definitely, if there were more tasks, we would need to get a solution for this.
As you know, after reading the text we had to represent the main points in an info-graphic. I consider the video proposed is really interesting from both an artistic and functional point of view. Even-though that, what we had to face many issues in the process of creating the info-graphic, for instance, the app we chose for that was not really well-polished and had a lot of errors that made that process longer. For this reason, that was probably the worst part of the activity.
Learning is a broad concept, as it can occur in hundreds of ways. In this case, during this week, we've learned more than just theoretically. We have used summarizing and structuring techniques for collecting and organizing the highlighted points of each digital competence and being able to work more easily with them. After that, we were introduced the basics for info-graphic representations, with which the previously gathered knowledge had to be depicted into an eye-catching format. Thanks to this process, we reflected upon the style we wanted to give to our project and adapt the organization towards that, without leaving anything behind.
Since we have already finished working for this course in group, except for the final portfolio, I believe that we should keep our good mood and unity for future journeys in a team and as friends.
This is all for the first season of the Go-Getters!
Juan
As the journalyst of Tech-ers, I really agree with you, we haven't just learned theoretical things, during these nine weeks we have learned many things that we can apply in many situations of our life. I love your reflection.
