ClassDojo & ethics

Hi there! It's María on board 😏

During this looong "week" - we are in our Easter break - we are working on ethics in ICT tools. The tool I have chosen to be reviewed is ClassDojo, which is decribed as communication app for the classroom by Common Sense's website.

On the other hand,  it is a useful way for teachers to manage his/her classes and to connect them with parents, who are informed about their children performances. Also students can participate and interact, which might engage them during the teaching and learning process. Moreover, it has some setting options so it can be adapted to the characteristics and necessities of every group.

In order to analyse ClassDojo properly, we are using two different rubrics:

Below you will be able to check how this tool has been rated in Common Sense education’s website; if you want to find out a more detailed evaluation click here:

In addition, click here so you can find a two-documents folder in which ClassDojo has been analysed using a rubric by Creative Commons.

That's all folks! 😘

Curator Post

Hey! This is Juan, this week's curator.  For my weekly post I have gathered and created the APA style references of the different resources used along the week. You will find them in the following mind map I have done. On it, you will also see a slight view at the process of the activity.  Click here to see the mind map in its original website
